  • Guest：This was a truly wonderful short break. Not only is La Madonetta a lovely place, perfectly maintained but the hosts Bernado and Valentina are charming, helpful and ready to provide sound advice. We only had two nights but managed (with pick up help from Bernardo to avoid the uphill walks to La Madonetta) to visit the Cinque Terra, find great restaurants and the station and boat locations. Our car stayed safe in their parking. Room and lounge great and breakfast not only excellent in itself but with an amazing view over Levanto unlikely to be equalled. You must stay there!
  • Guest：Our family rented all the rooms at the hotel for my mom’s birthday celebration. The rooms were very comfortable, good AC, comfortable beds and pillows, good water pressure, spotlessly clean. The service was above and beyond. It felt like we were welcomed into the home of a family friend. My uncle hurt his knee and the owner drove him up and down the hill. It’s a bit of a walk into town, but not unmanageable. The views really are unbeatable, photos just don’t do it justice! We all wished we could have stayed longer.

From the moment we were met at the gate by the owner Bernardo, and ushered in to meet Valentina, to the moment we departed, we felt amazingly seen and well taken care of by both of them. The beauty of this location, high above Levanto offers breathtaking views that pictures cannot capture. In addition, the delectable breakfast was served lovingly on a porch/rooftop with sweeping views below - unforgettable! The room itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed. Finally, the hotel itself is a unique experience in that it is a converted church handed down through generations to its current owner and therefore has love at its heart.
  • Guest：Staying at La Madonnetta in Levanto Italy was one of the highlights of our vacation! Valentina and Bernardo were fantastic. They anticipated our needs and offered assistance with making dinner reservations, and pickup and transport to the train station. We didn't ask, they offered. It is rare to have this kind of proactive hospitality. La Madonnetta is a former chapel with lots of charm. The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and there was even a refillable water bottle welcome gift. The location is on the bluff overlooking the sea, and is a short walk to the town and beach. This allows you to enjoy the views and beauty of the area while above the busyness of the town. Then when you are ready to explore or go to dinner, the town is only a short walk away. It really gives you the best of both worlds. Breakfasts were served on the veranda with an ocean view - what a way to start the day! The food was delicious and local. We stayed two nights and quickly realized that we wish we had planned to stay more nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. Valentina is so helpful and resourceful. Bernardo has a lovely, dry sense of humor that makes you feel welcomed. Bernardo traveled extensively in his former occupation and has experienced the range of customer service during his travels. He is putting this experience to good use in making sure his guests have a premium hospitality experience at La Madonnetta. If we had more time we would have been sure to take advantage of their elevated lounging area and the warm outdoor jacuzzi at sunset. Definitely plan to stay at least 4 nights! You will enjoy Levanto, enjoy La Madonnetta, and especially enjoy the welcoming, outstanding service of Valentina and Bernardo.
